This tree was seen planted (I assume) alongside a country road yesterday. It looks like something in Maloideae, but it's rather late flowering compared to the common run of Malus, Pyrus, Sorbus etc. (It has three styles so it's not a Prunus, never mind that it doesn't really look like one either.) Anyone have any ideas what it is.
